Women's Results & Match Reports 2023
Thursday 25th May Pentyrch v Roath Park
Thursday afternoon Pentrych Ladies were at home to Roath Park Ladies.
Our match commenced at 2.30 in glorious sunshine.
Both rinks for Pentrych started well but unfortunately we were unable to close the gap sufficiently to take the points so Roath park won overall. We provided refreshments and enjoyed a catch up with our visitors before they left for home.
The ladies continue to build in confidence with coaching sessions run by Margaret K which we are very grateful for and will help us to have a productive season.

Tuesday 23rd May Cardiff Sophia Gdns v Pentyrch
We travelled to Sophia gardens for an evening match. Both rinks put out very good performances which resulted in Pentrych ladies winning overall and taking the points.
Tuesday 2nd May Pentyrch v Rhiwbina
Pentrych ladies season resumed Tuesday 2nd May with a home match in the evening league against Rhiwbina ladies. The weather was kind although chilly towards the end.
Considering this was our first match and due to green repairs we had been unable to hold pre season practise both rinks played well but Rhiwbina took the overall win.
We finished the evening with a welcome cup of tea or coffee and cake with Rhiwbina ladies and a raffle to end a pleasant evening.
Our next match is home to Whitchurch on May 9th commencing at 5.30pm.
