****** New Equipment Container ******

On Thursday 2nd September the old maintenance equipment container that had housed the green maintenance equipment for the first 30 years of the club was removed and replaced by a new and very blue replacement. The old container, had in recent years shown it's age and was failing in many places, letting in water and making the valuable equipment vulnerable to damage and theft. It had faithfully served original green keeper, Harold Evans and more recently Bill Malcolm and assistants Phil Snook and Jim Martin very well. Jim and Ian Broxton were at the club to oversee the removal of the original container and installation of it's replacement. Bob Hopkins also helped with the installation and Adrian Bevan disconnected and reconnected the electricity supply. Follow the fascinating installation in the slideshow below.
