Open Day 29th April 2018
This was our 3rd Annual Open Day and the first time that it took place on a Sunday. Even though it was the end of April, the theme of the poor weather for spring continued with a cold and grey day. In terms of visitors, this was the most disappointing of the three, however, on a pro rata basis, it may have been the most successful with two new members joining. We wish them a happy and successful time bowling at our club. The organisers, Mark Krawiecki, Sheila Paul and Brian Pearce would like to thank everyone for their help with planning, catering and coaching, before and on on the day. It was also good to see a number of members coming along to support generally and taking the opportunity to have a "roll-up". More of this needed? We will reflect on the timing, advertising and format of the Open Day for next year's event.
