Thursday 19th May away v Pontyclun
On Thursday the 19th May we had an afternoon league match away to Pontyclun.The sun shone and we were able to put out two full teams.
Both rinks won with comfortable wins on both. Well done to all players a great confidence booster for us all.
Pontyclun’s hospitality with tea and biscuits in the club afterwards was very welcome.
We look forward to the return match at home on the 23rd June. CB

Tuesday 17th May home v Whitchurch
The Ladies' team had a home fixture on Tuesday to Whitchurch but due to heavy rain at 4.30 it was decided in the best interest of all to rearrange the fixture later on in the season. CB
****** Pentyrch Ladies' first Evening League Match ******
Tuesday 10th May away v Cardiff (Sophia Gardens)
May 10th @ 5.30pm was our first evening match of the season which was played against Cardiff (Sophia gardens) at their ground. we were unable to put out two full teams both rinks had good matches and gave a good account of themselves. The sun shone and everyone had a lovely evening. For one of our new ladies, Jan-Ryan-Mapstone who joined us towards the end of last season, this was her first league match and had a very good first game against some very strong opponents.
We have an afternoon league match on Thursday 12th May against Mount Pleasant at 2.30pm and look forward to welcoming them to Pentrych. CB
